In our seminar we will outline the basic elements of psychoanalytic identity and consider some cultural and environmental conditions that influence the development of contemporary psychoanalysis. What does it mean to be a psychoanalyst today, both in general and within a specific context such as the one in which the IPC operates? What relationship should exist between psychoanalysts and psychotherapists?
